Glen Rose

Situated among the rolling hills of North Texas 60 miles southwest of Fort Worth, the “Dinosaur Capital of Texas” has plenty of small-town charm and a host of unique, family-friendly things to do. Glen Rose is best known for its dinosaur history, and you can even see massive footprints left by dinosaurs in Dinosaur Valley State Park. However, one can also find plenty to do in the historic downtown square.
